This blog is meant to be several things for me. First and most importantly, it is where I can say what I want to say without fear or worry. Second, it is a creative outlet and a place to begin a long-time desire to “author” something. Last but not least, and actually, probably most importantly, it is a place for me to share honestly about things going on in my life, in hopes that perhaps I can help someone else along the way.
With that said, honesty is very important here so the first thing you should know is that Nathan Myles Tirsy isn’t my real name. It is a pen name that I have developed to use in order to be able to say what I want without fear or worry. Secondly, Nathan must be from somewhere else so as to continue to protect my liberty to speak freely. And third, in many cases I will alter the names of other people for both their privacy and mine. So basically, names are changed and I won’t tell you exactly where I am from. Everything else is 100% true.

I was born in 1986 in rural U.S.A. to a farmer and a homemaker. I am married, have four kids, am well educated, own three businesses and I am a workaholic by nature.
